  • Charlotte Williams

    Dr. Charlotte E. Williams is the founder and Director of the Southeast Alabama Education Outreach Center. The Center houses the federal TRIO program of Educational Talent Search. ETS serves 583 DCS middle and high school students annually. Dr. Williams has a BS degree from Auburn University in Secondary Education English, a Master’s degree from Troy University Dothan, and an Ed. D. from The University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa in Higher Education Administration. She has taught middle school, high school, and college level courses, as well as serving as Assistant Principal at Headland High School for five years. She was student Support Services Director at Troy Dothan before opening the SAEOC. She is married to Nolan Williams and has two grown sons, Barkley and Cleveland Kirkland; four grand children, and one Super Great grand child. Her passion for learning and education have been driving forces in her long educational career. "All children deserve the chance to make something of their lives." Our children are our future, and it is our responsibility to offer a chance to all of them.

  • Sandy Armstrong

    A resident of Abbeville, Alabama, Sandy is a retired 8th grade science educator from Henry County Schools. She currently serves as a consultant to the Wiregrass STEM Leadership Academy at Troy University, Dothan and works in aerospace education outreach with statewide teachers through the Civil Air Patrol. She has an extensive background in aerospace education and was the recipient of the Teacher of the Year Award from the National Space Club in Huntsville, the Crown Circle Award for Aerospace Education Leadership from the Civil Air Patrol, and the Christa McAuliffe National Educator of the Year from the National Air Force Association. She loves getting students and teachers excited about various aspects of aviation and aerospace.

    Bart Liddon is an award-winning custom home builder who began his construction career in 1976 in Atlanta where he built custom homes for over 30 years before returning to the Wiregrass. A native of Dothan, Bart graduated from the University of Alabama before receiving his master's degree in City and Regional Planning from Georgia Tech. He has been named Builder of the Year by the HBA of Dothan & the Wiregrass Area three times and has been voted Best Builder in the Dothan Eagle Best of the Wiregrass contest for the last three years. He has served his trade association, the National Association of Home Builders, at the local, state and national levels for many years.

She works primarily in Community Resource Development where she develops and implement researched based educational programs in workforce development , youth career development, entrepreneurship and economic development for youth and adults in Dale and Houston Counties. She is a graduate of Tuskegee University where she received her Bachelor of Science Degree and Masters Degree in Home Economics from Tuskegee University. She was recently appointed by Governor Kay Ivey to serve for Alabama Works Workforce Development Board for Region 6 , and recently appointed to serve as Chairperson of the Youth Committee.

    Dr. Charlotte E. Williams is the founder and Director of the Southeast Alabama Education Outreach Center. The Center houses the federal TRIO program of Educational Talent Search. ETS serves 583 DCS middle and high school students annually. Dr. Williams has a BS degree from Auburn University in Secondary Education English, a Master’s degree from Troy University Dothan, and an Ed. D. from The University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa in Higher Education Administration. She has taught middle school, high school, and college level courses, as well as serving as Assistant Principal at Headland High School for five years. She was student Support Services Director at Troy Dothan before opening the SAEOC. She is married to Nolan Williams and has two grown sons, Barkley and Cleveland Kirkland; four grand children, and one Super Great grand child.
